With 47 luxurious salons across London and the South, and no less than seven British Hairdressing Awards to date, The Rush Hair Group is a formidable force within the industry.

So when we found out they had opened a Swanky new salon around the corner from the office, it seemed rude not to pay them a visit!

Walking through the doors I was met by a smiling receptionist and shown to a little consultation table, where my super stylist Omorfi and I talked through what was going to happen to transform my tired barnet.
I have unreasonably curly hair and wanted a silky smooth blow-dry for my weekend of fun and frolicks. At first I was a little concerned that she didn’t quite understand the magnitude of my crazy hair, but she showed no fear! And as a curly girl herself she was used to the highs and lows of us spiral haired sisters!

I was taken to the gorgeous Shu Uemura area where my hair washed and conditioned with the best products for my hair type. Omorfi was great at informing me what she was using and why, which is really helpful for at home maintenance! Then the blow-dry commenced.... I don’t know how she did it, but she tamed the beast and it looked fantastic!

I walked out of the salon with a silky-smooth, voluminous blow-dry that would give Jennifer Lopez a run for her money.
